The Women Hygiene Awareness & Menstrual Health Program is a community initiative aimed at promoting personal hygiene, menstrual health awareness, and women’s health education, especially among underprivileged women. Conducted in a safe and respectful environment, sessions are led by trained volunteers and healthcare professionals. The program covers key topics like menstrual hygiene management, use and disposal of sanitary pads, personal cleanliness, hygiene-related infections, nutrition during menstruation, and common myths. Interactive discussions and practical demonstrations ensure participants clearly understand healthy hygiene practices. Along with awareness, hygiene kits containing sanitary pads, soap, shampoo, and other essentials are distributed to support daily hygiene. This initiative empowers women with knowledge, confidence, and resources, promoting dignity, well-being, and sustainable hygiene practices in the community.

Prochesta works to empower vulnerable communities through social welfare, awareness, and development programs. Our women-led subunit, Agnija, leads all women-focused initiatives, showcasing that women’s leadership drives real change.

We organize needs-based food distributions, old and new clothes distribution for the needy, elderly, and orphan children, blanket drives in winter, and cultural inclusion activities like Durga Puja pandal hopping with orphan children.

In education and health, we run menstrual hygiene programs in schools, Good Touch–Bad Touch awareness for primary students, and women hygiene awareness with essential kits, all guided by Agnija. Tree plantation drives on World Environment Day highlight our commitment to sustainability.
